This is a Japanese classroom sponsored by the Kahoku International Relations Association (KIRA). IVY also cooperates in its management.

Course start and period:

【Spring】 April 16, 2009 (THU) to July 16, 2009 (THU)
【Summer】 August 20, 2009 (THU) to December 17, 2009 (THU)
【Winter】 January 14, 2010 (THU) to March 18, 2010 (THU)

 

※ Registration is accepted at any time during the course.
Those wishing to participate are requested to please contact IVY in advance.

Time:

Every Thursday, 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (No class on holidays.)

Place:

Kaminoyama Working Women's House "Yumii" (1-1 Motojonai, Kaminoyama, Yamagata Prefecture)

Contents:

Beginning Japanese Grammar, Intermediate Level Conversation

Participation fee:

 

 

 

400 yen per class (Separate charge for textbooks.)
Payament method: April 23, 5,200 yen (for 13 classes)
                     August 20, 7,200 yen (for 18 classes)
                     January 14, 3,600 yen (for 9 classes)   

How fees are used:

Copies, hall rental, air conditioning expenses, travel expenses for volunteers, green tea, etc.

Acutal expense (Different texts are used according to the class.)

 

Exchanges with local residents are organized once or twice a year,
and we also participate in regional events (Hanagasa Parade, Kakashi (scarecrow) Festival, etc.).
