Interpreter Skill Improvement Course - IVY-English-page[International Volunteer center of Yamagata]

IVY dispatches interpreters to health and medical institutions throughout the prefecture.

An understanding of the system of the health and medical field, knowledge of each diagnosis and treatment department, cultural understanding of the interpreted language, and interpreter's knowledge are all indispensable in order to provide adequate interpretation services.

Courses covering the above-mentioned contents are held from time to time, so please participate if you are someone who is already actively involved as an interpreter, someone wishing to become a registered interpreter in the future, or just someone interested in multicultural issues.

Venue :	Yamagata City
Eligible persons :	Persons residing in Yamagata Prefecture who can speak two languages, including Japanese, and can understand lectures presented in Japanese.　If possible, a language level that is above the daily conversation level.
Participation fee :	500 yen (no charge for IVY members)

＊October 3 (Saturday) 14:00-16:00 The health care system will be studied. Now accepting applications.

We request the Yamagata Bar Association to dispatch lecturers, and through imagery and debate style we learn specific details about the civil and criminal laws of Japan and their interpretations, and the trail process.
